I wasn't sure where in Scotland last nights postcard was from. @pectiwita_ shared this image of North Berwick Law and a bit of history about the place. It's a beautiful hill. Thanks for tagging me @pectiwita_! ・・・The lovely view of North Berwick Law an impressive Iron Age hill fort, past the remains of still standing Bronze age and Iron age hut circles up onto the craggy summit. Once on the summit, there are some examples of East Lothian’s military history-a Napoleanic watch tower and a World War 2 look out post. There are fantastic views from the top across the medieval burgh of North Berwick and out to Bass Rock, Fidra and Fife. Very little archaeological work has been undertaken on North Berwick Law but the prehistoric houses and the view from the summit are worth a visit.
