Thousands of cuts were made in bristol board to create the flowers. Each flower had 2-3 layers of “petals” which were mounted onto wire and dipped 5-7 times in beeswax, then “planted” into the walls. All pictures credit of Kerosene Rose.

This device is used to smoke and calm bees when opening their hives. Dead bees were collected by Rebecca D. and glued onto the ends of curled wire. All pictures credit of Kerosene Rose.
