Day 32, painting 7 of #100daysofscottishlandscapes. Loch Maree and the mighty Slioch inspired by @jamesberryhighlander. Well…this has been a very long week with a couple trips to emergency and too many sleepless nights. Thanks to everyone for your well wishes for the wee one. She thinks you're all great and so do I!It felt so so so good to be able to relax and paint. The house is quiet except for Christmas jazz and an annoying leaky faucet that must have decided to take advantage while I was preoccupied (tomorrow you are fixed, mister!). I have a pine scented candle burning and my paints. I really missed painting but there are times when you have to slog through the tough stuff. I've said it before that when I paint I travel to that place.
